Bank Transfer

The standard way to pay at Nigerian betting sites. Many bookmakers give you a dedicated account number: you send money to it from your banking app and the deposit appears in your betting balance. Withdrawals almost always go back to a bank account in your name.

MSport, for example, lists Sterling, FirstBank, UBA, GTBank, ALAT by Wema and Zenith among its payment partners, along with OPay, PalmPay and Kuda.

USSD Codes

USSD lets you pay from a basic phone without internet. You dial your bank's code, choose a transfer and confirm with your PIN. Common bank codes:

BankUSSD code
GTBank*737#
First Bank*894#
UBA*919#
Zenith Bank*966#
Access Bank*901#

Your bank may charge a small fee per USSD session. Never read your PIN or one time code to anyone who calls you, even if they say they are from a bookmaker.

Wallet Apps: OPay, PalmPay and Kuda

Wallet and digital bank apps are popular because transfers are fast and fees are low. If your bookmaker lists OPay or PalmPay in the cashier, you can pay directly from the app. If not, a normal bank transfer from the app to the bookmaker's account number works the same way.

Use an account in your own name. Bookmakers check that the name on your betting account matches the bank account before they pay out.

How to Withdraw Your Winnings

  1. Complete verificationConfirm your phone number, name and bank account. Some bookmakers ask for ID before the first payout.
  2. Finish any bonus rolloverWithdrawing with an active bonus usually cancels it.
  3. Open Withdraw in your accountChoose the bank account and enter the amount.
  4. Confirm and waitPayout times differ by bookmaker and bank; the cashier shows the expected time and any daily limit.

Payments FAQ

Which betting sites accept OPay?

MSport lists OPay and PalmPay as payment partners, and many other Nigerian bookmakers accept transfers from wallet apps. The deposit screen of each site shows its current methods.

What is the minimum deposit for betting in Nigeria?

It depends on the bookmaker and method. For welcome bonuses we found minimums from ₦400 (BetWinner) to ₦1,700 (1xBet).

Why was my withdrawal rejected?

The most common reasons are a name mismatch between your betting and bank accounts, missing verification or an unfinished bonus rollover. Contact the bookmaker's support with your transaction reference.
